Whilst we do our best to keep up to date with your messages there will be occasions when your e-mails are not responded to or posted on to the The Mailbox page as quickly as they should. We do appologise for this when it happens as we do value your input, so please do keep them coming and we will endeavour to keep up to the mark, but do bear in mind that in our day the best we had was air mail, which meant hanging around to flag a passing pigeon.

we are so pleased u are playing in wales again. We regularly make the trip from wales to london to see u and it will be nice to be able to have a shorter trip to come and see you.
Emilia - Sunday, January 20, 2008

Fantastic night at the Half moon really enjoyed it. A big hi to Mark nice to see you again!
Jayne - Thursday, January 17, 2008

Hello Rollin' Stoned, Just two questions, if you please. Is Byron Jones the same Byron Jones who was once with the Counterfeit Stones? I saw the Counterfeits back in 1999, great gig. I also them again a few weeks ago, and the disappointment there was no Brian! I thought it was a tribute to Fraggle Rock for a split second! Just kidding. Also, will you be playing a special tribute to Brian around what would have been his 66th birthday? If so I would love to attend, and would like to know where I can get tix?
Mandy - Wednesday, January 9, 2008
The Rollin Stoned - we normally only allow one question, but as you are recovering from the effects of a Counterfeit show, we'll allow you a special two for one offer. Yes we do have your absentee "Byron Jones" in our custody but he is not due for release yet. Re the BJ birthday gig's, it is something we have done a number times in the past but nothing is planned as I write. That is not to say it won't happen again this year if we pull our finger out, so keep checking web-site for any news.
Hi guys, hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Awesome gig at Darlington the other week - really enjoyed ourselves - cheers! Wishing you all a Hippy New Year and looking forward to seeing you soon...the countdown is on!!! All the best
Angie, Mitch & Mick - Friday, December 28, 2007
ANOTHER fabulous night. My work buddies (including boss) are now great fans. All said how great you were and there was a lot of excitement when I informed them you were returning to Forum in June/December 08 so 2 nights out then (though hope more gigs appear striking distance for us before then - otherwise gutted at the long wait!!) Needless to say Gabe and I once again had an unforgettable evening - thanks so much.
Jan & Gabe - Saturday, December 15

I am horrified to say that in Sheffield last night, Sir, I noticed you were wearing black underwear with white trousers. I would not have expected such an elementary mistake from a rock legend of your calibre, and would have thought you would understand that white trousers, especially tight ones, elicit the need for flesh-coloured, or at the very least matching white, underwear. I do hope that in future you will endeavour to rectify this mistake. Yours in disgust, p.s. Fatastic show, though.
Miss Emerald - Sunday, December 9, 2007

Another cracking night seeing you guys at The Studio, Hartlepool, 7 Dec. You were absolutely superb (as always!!). So glad we are going to see you again on 14 Dec at Forum, Darlington. Thanks for another thoroughly enjoyable night.
Gabe & Jan - Saturday, December 8, 2007
Hi Chaps ! very good evening at Acacia Hall recently even though Biff Bam Pow went on a little longer than anticipated. The Williams 'posse' enjoyed the night all the same so much so that we will be seeing you again (nothing new there then) at Half Moon Putney on Fri 21st for some more intimate Woo Woos ! Any chance you can include on your set list Wild Horses and Off the Hook and if you are really feeling generous at this giving time Little Queenie that would make us 'ol fans Ed and I being 50 in particular feel very happy (" Keiths going to sing Happy for you ") Festive cheer to one and all ! Cheers Guys
Chris - Thursday, December 6
Hello to one and all, Another wonderful evening's entertainment from 'The Band. I'm also rather pleased that the audience has at last started to join in, and let themselves go. Some could actually sing too!! I need more volume from the rest just to cover my own singing. It's one thing to know the words, but a singer I ain't!! The sound management was good and I just loved the snow, very festive, should have brought my ski's. Bill was a better look-a-like, than usual, is this a permanent change? and is Nick on the keyboards another change? Whatever the reasons for the change in line up, you are still number one on my Christmas Card list, and my brother has promised to be down at Kyps for your next visit. (or is that a threat?) Thank you one and all, looking forward to seeing you again soon. Possibly at the Half Moon in Putney.
David - Sunday, December 2, 2007
Are there any plans in the future to come close to Peterborough or within a 20-30 mile radius of Peterborough? Last saw you in Stamford and was bowled over by your performance, so would love to see you again.
Sherrie - Sat, 1 Dec 2007

Howdy all, Please add me to your mailing list as I intend not to miss anymore of your gigs local to me. Saw you at Dartford last weekend and Biggin Hill a few years ago. Thanks for a great night you really got me goin (stage banger at front Hope you dont mind we filmed what we could, the dvd of which is currently being passed around Swanley on our jam nights. Aron - Wednesday, November 28

Thank God I see your back at Crewe next year for the Xmas gig on Dec 30th !! We have been very worried as the Limelight folk have been missing you !!!!!! We're even having to go up to Sheffield in December - see you there !!! PS - Can't you get back to the LL before July 08 ???
Clive - Friday, November 23, 2007

Hi you Krazy Kat's, Well seeing as the Mohamed, (you) never came to the Mountain (Me / Ireland) in March of this year, I am forced to come to your prodical return to the Dartford Delta on Saturday 24th. Any chance of playing Memory Hotel? especially for Fred Williams and Ed Gook who will both be celebrating their 50th Birthdays with you youngsters!!! Also any chance of a shout to the Slane Castle warriors? I know it's only rock 'n' roll..but I like it. Woo Woo! ps Any news of any Irish gigs?
Friend of Fred - Thursday, November 22, 2007

Long time since we last saw you or I dropped you a line. Looking forward to Saturday as you are on our local manor and we will have an excellent turn out on the night. Ed (The Mex) and I are celebrating reaching 50 and thought no better way to start celebrations then a night out with you boys. Any chance we can hear amongst your set for the evening Wild Horses, Paint it Black , Off the Hook and Miss You which would be really appreciated. Ooh and if Mick wants a hand on the chorus I will be only to willing to join you all on the stage .That would top a great evening.
Chris - Sunday, November 18, 2007

Jeanette - Friday, October 12, 2007

Hey guys when u got any plans to play a gig in Linconshire again....went to your gig at the Drill Hall at Lincoln a few years back and then more recently at The Sands, Gainsborough. We thought you were great at both of these. Recently went to see the Counterfeits when they played at Lincoln a few months back, but they are not a patch on you guys. Give it some thought guys about making a return trip to the land of the cabbage. Best Regards from the Lincoln Stoned Posse
Colin, Sarah, Greg, Lisa, Andy and Sharon - Mon, 8 Oct 2007
The Rollin Stoned - Sorry you've been cheating on us, but as we've been neglecting you I guess you're forgiven, you're not to first to be be lured by their bogus charm. Nothing in the pipeline for Lincolnshire at the moment I'm afraid, but I'm sure we'll back before too long. Charley enjoys communing with cabbages, although he can find them a bit challenging intellectually.

Hi guys, Saw you at Half Moon, Putney last Saturday. Without exaggeration it was the best night I've had in ages. Thats how live music should be - stuff stadium gigs, Rollin Stoned at Half Moon wins every time ! Converted fan see you at the Boom Boom Club in December , I've spread the word... Once again thanks.
Brian, Pete, Mark & Stuart - Monday, October 8, 2007

Hey fellas, I have assembled to come and watch you at the Half Moon this Saturday, one of life's pleasures. I'd love it if you could play the Dillon classic Like a Rolling Stone, that puts an enormous smile on my face and you carry it off so well. Take it easy...
Bryn - Tuesday, October 2, 2007

Hello to One & All, Just a brief word of thanks for the Gig at Mr.Kyps last Friday. You never cease to amaze me, with your show. This must have been your best yet, certainly that I have seen at Mr.Kyps. The whole set was superbe. I particularly enjoyed Sir Mick cajoling/forcing Mick Waylor to the front of the stage to show off his skills.
You really are one hell of a Tribute to the Stones. Thank you, will be seeing you in December, or perhaps sooner, if we can get to the Half Moon. All the Best. ps.my brother did not help with the washing-up. But his thoughts on All of you, match mine.
David - Saturday, August 4, 2007

Looking forward to your gig this friday at MrKyps in Poole. My brother was so impressed with your last visit here that he has decided to come on down to the Deepest Darkest Dorset Coast, to stay with us, AGAIN!! and take in your gig. So thanks a bunch you Guys!!

Zoe - Wednesday, July 18, 2007
ROLLINSTONED - WE WOULD LIKE TO APPOLOGISE FOR ANYBODY WHO, LIKE ZOE, HAS BOOKED TICKETS TO SEE THE BAND AT THE "ORCHARD SPOT" IN MAIDSTONE ON JULY 20TH. WHEN WE FIRST RECEIVED HER MESSAGE, WE ASSUMED SHE HAD CONFUSED US WITH ANOTHER BAND AS THE BOOKING WAS NEWS TO US. IT NOW APPEARS THAT THE PROMOTER HAD BOOKED THE BAND INTO THE VENUE EARLIER IN THE YEAR WITHOUT INFORMING USUNFORTUNATELY, GIVEN THE EXTREME SHORT NOTICE, WE ARE UNABLE TO STAND IN AT THE LAST MINUTE, WE'RE VERY SORRY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN DISSAPOINTED.

Hi there, great show at the Boardwalk, brought my friends over from Filey, near Scarborough to see you, they has a great time too! would be great to see you back in Scarborough, when you coming?
Tina x - Monday, July 16, 2007

High Guys,You put a brilliant gig on on Friday night At Killerton House in rain drenched Devon. It would take a lot more than the heavy rain to kill the enjoyment of your performance. We thought that you should have headlined the show !! We will look out for you again in the South West. Thanks again for a brilliant show.
Stuart & Lin - Sunday, July 15, 2007

Rollin Stoned - That truly was a Wimbledon Week of rain got dumped on you brave souls, still it could have been worse, at least you did'nt have to join a cmomunal sing along of "Congratulations" with Sir Cliif..

Hi, Just to say a big thank you for playing Angie for me last night! I was having one of my 50th birthday celebrations at Killerton with friends. We all thought you were fantastic and could have listened to just you all night - even though we were dancing knee-deep in mud!! Thanks again for helping to make it a special evening.
Angie - Saturday, July 14, 2007

Hi, Came to see your show last night at Honiton Motel, I went for my birthday with my 2 sisters and we thought you were outstanding and the Rolling Stones would be extremely proud to have you as a tribute band. Well Done!!!
Sylvia - Friday, July 13, 2007

Your Honiton gig was excellent having seen the real thing a few years back you are just as good and should be so proud of all the effort you put into a performance. A great bunch of musicians. My wife thought Mick get her under a cold shower. Keep up the good work will definitely see you again sometime
David - Friday, July 13, 2007

EXCELLENT NIGHT AT HONITON MOTEL
Deborah - Thursday, July 12, 2007

Alright chaps, Just wanted to let you know how good that was yesterday at Wellington Country Park! Me and the misses thought it was brillint. We were having a chat with 'Byron' after the set, hoping to get a photo with all of you but you'd already got changed!! We'll catch you next time you're in or around Reading. Thanks again!!
Matt & Lucy - Monday, July 9, 2007

Hi there, We had another GREAT night at The Boardwalk last Saturday (well worth the 2 hour journey!!) LOVED the music. The only complaint we have is that there are not enough gigs in north-east. Look forward to seeing you all again in December at Hartlepool.
Gabe & Jan - Monday, June 25, 2007
What a brilliant night at Sands Gainsborough. Would love to see you guys at our little pearl of a theatre in Retford. Keep on rocking.
Sue - Sunday, June 24, 2007

Dear Rollin Stoned... A group of us are attending the Killerton Rocks gig to celebrate a good friends 50th Birthday and as you were 'The Band' that we wanted to see perform, what better way could there be but to see our number one band 'The Rollin Stoned' Angie will be celebrating her 50th Birthday....I was just wondering if there was any way we could get you to do a dedication for her on the evening and will you be singing 'ANGIE' cos if you were that would be a double whammy? I am really hoping that you can come up trumps for us on this....I know that your appearance on stage will just be incredibly exciting for us...and this would really make Angies night....... Please can you let me know if this will be possible............. Can't wait to see you on stage.
Katrina - Thursday, June 21, 2007
Rollin Stoned - So glad your attending the show. We'll do our best with your request, it is not always possible, but on the other hand, "Angie: is pretty much a fixture and fitting in most sets they perform so it's a fairly safe bet.

hi, just wondering when we'll be seeing you at Springhead,if at all, have you lost the directions to hull?
Graham & Becky - Thursday, June 21, 2007
Rollin Stoned - I'm afraid The Springhead have pulled The Rollin Stoned gigs as they were apparently unable to cover their costs. The Truck Theatre, likewise are not booking the band at the moment so I regret the road to Hull is paved with no intentions at all at the moment. The best I can offer is the vague possibility of something happening later in the year at new club in Grimsby called the Yardbirds although I'm not sure how convenient that would be for you.

Hello, I enjoyed your act at Whitehaven, hope you come again, and the weather is a little kinder to us all. I was around at St Petersburgh when I new it was a time for a change....great. thanks
Steve - Sunday, June 17, 2007

hi there , loved the gig at whitehaven last night - shame about the weather ! can't wait to see you all again for a full length set . I now know why you get the rave reviews - the musicianship was quality , coupled with plenty of theatre and FUN on stage. I'll travel to see you again but how about another show in cumbria sometime soon ?
Pete - Sunday, June 17, 2007

hi there, I had seen the band in germany since 2 years ago, it was really great did they play in germany the next time?
Dirk - Saturday, June 9, 2007

Sophie - Friday, June 8, 2007

Thanks for the drinks byron and the gang for the song at Flowerpot - pity we were at the bar when you called it out, was rather merry at the time. We're coming up to Whitehaven soon and will catch ya at Boardwalk too.

Kelly - Tuesday, May 15, 2007
Thanks for another wonderful night at The Lancastrian, Gateshead on 27 April. Again we had a truly brilliant evening. The Rollin Stoned is the BEST tribute band around (even better than the real thing for us). Your music is FIRST CLASS and we will endeavour to travel to as many venues as poss. Look forward to seeing you all again in Sheffield on 23 June.
Jan and Gabe - Monday, May 7, 2007
Yo!! Sorry we haven't been in touch earlier than this....hope you all had a good Easter. Thanks for a brilliant night at the Forum in Darlington the other week - you guys always make it a special night for us! Really appreciate your kindness! You rocked the place!!! We eventually made it back to the B&B after taking the taxi driver on a mystery tour...none of us could remember what the place was called - ooops!!! Anyways, might catch you guys in Gateshead at the end of this month...those 'golden circle' tickets are calling us...! Tek care, huge thanks once again.
Mick, Angie & Mitch - Saturday, April 14, 2007

Hi Guys, I met you all last night at The Venue London.Very impressed with what you have got together.I am a director and actor musician so I know how much work goes into this. Check out www.oggimusic.com sometime and I'll come and see you all again when you next play London.
David McGaw - Saturday, April 14, 2007
Once again, thanks so much for taking the time to come to the bar and give your autographs, for me and the two USA girls. It was really appreciated...........
I’m still recovering from such a wonderful night and have managed to get booked for me and long suffering husband (who I managed to convert to Stones’ music in the last 2 years!!) to see you again on 27 April at The Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead. CAN’T WAIT!...........
Hope for another dance and “fat kiss” with you then! Gabe (the husband) was also very impressed with the band and said if you closed your eyes you would think it was the real thing.
Jan & Friends - Monday, April 2, 2007

Hi guys, I had a truly great time seeing your performance at The Forum, Darlington (30.3.07). You are all absolutely amazing and as my mate in the States says, better than the real thing!! I'm going to forward her email onto you. I was the one that asked you for autographs for two American girls in Missouri. Thanks so much for supplying these, the girls are thrilled. I also emailed them the photos I took last night. Your music is first class and the only problem was that time went too quickly. You are fantastic lads and I was totally bowled over with the songs. My husband and I are applying for tickets for The Lancastrian Suite, Gateshead on 27 April so look forward to seeing you then. Fondest regards to your all.
Jan, Ferryhill - Saturday, March 31, 2007
Hey guys! Great to see that your gig at Darlington has SOLD OUT! tomorrow night. Just wish we had of 'wound our necks in' earlier than this and bought tickets in advance….GUTTED! Never mind though, I'm sure we'll catch up with you guys very soon. Have a great gig!
Angie, Mitch & Mick - Thursday, March 29

We came to the Botley Hill Farmhouse on Saturday night (24th March 2007) and you were all absoloutely fab. We had such a great night and would love to come again and wave our bras above our heads. The dancing on the stage was great and apologies for the butt slap to Mick but I couldn't resist. The Afterlife of Brian was also great and his banter was hilarious. A brilliant night.
Sharon & gang - Monday, March 26, 2007

Hi Guys, I seen your show last night in Derry and loved it thankyou. I work in a bar called Sandinos in Derry (www.sandinos.com) next time you come to Derry you should play here instead you would pack the place. We have a fantastic venue and sound system (tec. spec. on the web site)
Kitty - Saturday, March 17, 2007

Just wanted to say thanks for an AMAZING night at Mr Kyps, probably the best time I've ever had. And thanks for letting us dance (I use that word in its loosest possible term) onstage, that was awesome! Really looking foward to your return in July!!

Kirsty - Saturday, March 10, 2007

Just wondering if you’ve got yourelves a myspace page? Cheers
Stuart - Thursday, March 8, 2007
RollinSroned - The Rollin Stoned Myspace can be found at this link, also to be found on our home page of this web site just below the Gig Alert

Well, 2007 has got off to a blinder chaps ! We really enjoyed ourselves recently and a big thank you for a great set list which included 'Wild Horses' and you even managed to 'Jam' some 'Hey Negrita' as you promised Keef when I caught you at the bar and to keep in some gems from 'Exile' made it a great night. Having 'Brown Sugar' at the end was the icing on the cake, I nearly found meself clambering to get on the stage but some other dude beat me ! We hope you include ACACIA HALL and /or MJC on your gig list for later this year - wdyt ? 'Everybody got to go ....' Cheers guys , hopefully seee you soon
Chris - Tuesday, February 20, 2007

Hi Mick, hows Keef, Ive not seen you since he fell outta the coconut tree! Lookin forward to Friday at the Komedia in Brighton, taking the gang from work down there, some weren't even born until after Brian went for his last swim! What about unusual numbers, I mentioned before anything from Between the Buttons, and no Mothers Little Helper was not on the original album, Complicated or Amanda Jones were! Hay another one that springs to mind is "You Gotta Move" I think from the film and album of the same name "Gimmie Shelter" Lots of nice slide if Keef or Mick's (Taylor) up for it! Another one, I know I keep banging on about it, is Memo to Turner, yes you've told me before, its not a Stones number, but nor is Run Rudolph Run! Anyway it would look great on stage if you had the florescent tube, remember it in the film? Make sure its well earthed! See you Friday
Pedro - Tuesday, February 13, 2007

Hi there I've never heard you play, but my friend has seen you loads of times and reckons you're better than the real thing. Anyway, here are some suggestions for additions to your very impressive playlist: Winter & Dancin' with Mr. D from Goat's Head Soup Hand Of Fate from Black & Blue cheers
Julian Penfold - Monday, February 5, 2007

2007 already and we are gearing up for our first RS gig so we are hoping you boys will continue to impress and play those requests. Any chance we could hear Micks dulcet tones on 'Wild Horses' (one of my favourites) and to hear for the first time the totally different 'Hey Negrita'. Now that will be worth looking forward to chaps.I have rounded up the Williams posse and we are gonna be with you at The Half Moon on Sat Feb 3rd, fingers crossed my requests will be welcomed. All the best
Chris Williams - Wednesday, January 24

you are brilliant! can`t wait for next gig
mad mike - Sunday, January 21, 2007

Hi, I saw you a few years ago at the now sadly closed Torrington Arms, North Finchley, London. It was brilliant- great instrumental technique played playfully with high caricature showmanship and a healthy boozy disrespect for your own musical talent, banging the noise out of those instruments as if they were kids toys whilst still confidently producing those driving rhythms we know and love.- er... anyway- I would like to go to another gig and this time bring some more mates. I live in Finchley with wife and 2 baby daughters which is lovely, but its not easy to get out - and mates are in same kind of North London situation.- Please can you find a North London/ North West London venue for gigs . The place that was supposed to have taken over from the Torrington was the Tally Ho Arts depot- but this may lack atmosphere as it is a seated theatre. Here are some suggestions: Various size venues in Camden Town, Lauderdale House in Highgate, Lorenzo's Ahir in Finchley Central (great for me - bar with back room -but may be too small), Old Bull in Barnet (maybe seated but worth a check)+ the established gig venues in Harrow, Watford, St Albans. I would imagine some of the Camden venues may have policies on tribute bands but from what I've seen - you guys create your own different and in my opinion superior performance- and therefore should not be hidden in the category of 'another tribute band'.
Martin - Mon, 8 Jan 2007

Hello! Just wanted to wish you all a belated 'Happy New Year' and thank you for yet another truly awesome gig at the Flowerpot - loved every minute of it! We all had sore throats, bad heeds and ringing ears the next day!! I see your playing Darlington in March, so that's our next trip sorted already! See you all soon, take care. The mad geordie bunch. x x x

Rollin Stoned - Thank you so much for your message and colourful praise, shucks we hardly know which way to look. North London has become somewhat neglected sadly but you've certainly done a lot of homework, well do our best to chase up a few of the leads that you've found.look.

Hi, Thanks for the mail. Re the pics, I'll gladly burn them all onto a CDR........ Meanwhile, don't know if you're aware of this site (I'm sure you are) - IORR ? I started a thread on it around mid December alerting folk to your December 22nd/23rd Xmas shows. Link below: http://www.iorr.org/talk/read.php?1,600443 As a matter of interest, do you guys ever play "Stop Breaking Down" ? Happy New Year, all the very best to you, and see you at the Half Moon in a month or so.
Paul - Friday 5th Jan 2007
RollinSroned - Thanks for the link, I did not know about it (although I guess I should have as I notice the Stones FC Europe site is on our link page).... There's a whole world out there in cyber space that passes me by - so they were right, people have been talking about the band behind their back all along, and to think I put it all down to drug induced paranoid fantasies. As for 'Stop Breaking down' not so far... although horribly appropriate... for Keiths Guitars..... Keiths Amps...... Keith for that Matter.....the Band Van.... in fact you name it..... could be the band's anthem.
Thanks for a great evening (I was the drunk bloke in the Peckham t-shirt)- I ues to work for two separate newspapers(one national) writing about music and your gig was the best I've ever been to! I shall round up my colleagues at an un-named Indian beer company for your gig at the Half Moon next month - they can't work out what all the fuss is about! Best wishes
David - Wed, 3 Jan 2007

Hi and a big thank you for such an excellent night last week at Sutton Football Club. We last saw you September 2002 when you did an absolutely fantastic show at Newcastle Opera House. Last weeks gig at Sutton lived up to our expectations, meeting Charlie at the bar, Mick giving us a mention half way through the night and absolutely spot on music, well worth our 320 mile drive South. RollinStoned - Many thanks for the message and all your great support - beyond the call of duty, we should be giving you air miles - although I fear the Brits have been upstaged by the Germans again, a couple of girls came over from Stuttgart.
Hey,
